What are Skate Flaps?
Skate Flaps are front and rear fenders (mud guards) for electric skateboards. They sit over your wheels and catch the water, mud, and grit your wheels throw up, so it doesn't land on your deck, your shoes, or your back.
Which boards do Skate Flaps fit?
Skate Flaps are made for the Meepo V5 electric skateboard only. They're shaped to fit the V5 exactly.
What comes in the box?
Front fenders, rear fenders, and a skate tool.
How hard are they to install?
Not hard. Install takes a few minutes with the included skate tool, and they come off just as fast when you don't need them.
What are they made of?
Durable TPU. It's a flexible material, so the fenders bend on impact instead of cracking like hard plastic.
Can I ride my Meepo V5 in the rain with Skate Flaps?
Skate Flaps cut down a lot of the spray that comes off your wheels on wet roads, so light rain and puddles are a lot more manageable. They don't make your board waterproof, though. Do fenders help in dry weather too?
Yes. They also block dust, gravel, and grit from getting flicked up onto you and your board.
